About the Role

We’re looking for experienced Computer and Information Systems Managers with a strong track record of leading technology initiatives, managing teams and external vendors, and delivering results across complex, multi-quarter projects.

You’ll apply your technology management and project leadership expertise to realistic scenarios involving project planning, vendor performance, service-level agreements, team coordination, risk management, conflict resolution, and executive stakeholder reporting as part of a project focused on evaluating and improving AI systems.

No prior AI experience is required. Your technology leadership experience, operational judgment, and ability to manage complex initiatives are the core qualifications.

What You’ll Do

• Develop comprehensive project plans for focused technology initiatives, including timelines, deliverables, milestones, and resource requirements.

• Lead initiatives through planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery.

• Coordinate and oversee external technology vendors and service providers.

• Establish, monitor, and manage vendor deliverables against agreed service-level agreements (SLAs).

• Track vendor performance and address issues that could affect project outcomes.

• Lead and support cross-functional project teams to maintain effective collaboration.

• Resolve conflicts and make timely decisions when project priorities, resources, or stakeholder requirements compete.

• Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement appropriate mitigation measures.

• Maintain project documentation covering status, risks, decisions, deliverables, and outcomes.

• Prepare concise, actionable reports for technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Communicate project status and key decisions clearly in both written and verbal formats.

• Maintain quality standards and ensure initiatives remain within agreed scope and constraints.

• Provide practical insights that can inform technology management, process improvement, and technology adoption scenarios.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience leading multi-quarter technology initiatives with end-to-end ownership.

• Demonstrated experience managing technology projects from planning through results delivery.

• Strong team management and cross-functional leadership experience.

• Proven ability to coordinate and manage external technology vendors.

• Experience negotiating vendor requirements and managing vendor relationships.

• Strong understanding of service-level agreements (SLAs), including establishing, monitoring, and enforcing performance expectations.

• Demonstrated conflict-resolution and decision-making skills in complex project environments.

• Strong risk identification and project monitoring capabilities.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to translate complex project information into clear updates for technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Experience producing project documentation and executive-level reports.

• Ability to work independently and manage complex deliverables remotely.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing external technology providers across long-running initiatives.

• Experience defining vendor performance metrics and reporting against SLAs.

• Strong background in technology operations, IT management, or information systems leadership.

• Experience making technology adoption or process improvement recommendations based on project findings.

• Experience managing projects involving multiple teams, vendors, and stakeholder groups.

• Experience contributing to structured technology assessments, process improvement initiatives, or AI evaluation projects is helpful but not required.
