About the Role

We’re looking for experienced environmental and sustainability professionals who combine strong industry knowledge with advanced PowerPoint and presentation skills.

You’ll work with business and technical presentations covering areas such as environmental compliance, sustainability reporting, emissions, environmental performance, and corrective action planning.

Your role will be to reconstruct and improve presentation slides while preserving scientific accuracy, regulatory context, and important technical details. You’ll strengthen visual storytelling, data visualization, content structure, and executive communication while applying your professional judgment to determine what should be changed and what should remain.

No previous AI experience is required.

What You’ll Do

• Analyze presentation slides covering environmental, sustainability, ESG, and related topics.

• Reconstruct supplied slides accurately using Microsoft PowerPoint.

• Improve slide structure, layout, visual hierarchy, readability, and overall presentation quality.

• Strengthen charts, tables, diagrams, and other environmental or sustainability data visualizations.

• Improve visual storytelling and make complex information easier to communicate.

• Edit and refine content while preserving scientific accuracy and technical meaning.

• Ensure important environmental terminology, regulatory definitions, assumptions, and caveats remain accurate.

• Work with materials such as compliance presentations, sustainability reports, emissions summaries, environmental performance reviews, and corrective action plans.

• Identify weaknesses in messaging, structure, visual communication, or data presentation and make appropriate improvements.

• Recognize when an existing element is already strong and preserve it intentionally.

• Document changes, improvements, and decisions made for each slide.

• Clearly explain the reasoning behind both modifications and elements that were deliberately retained.

• Complete individual slide assignments efficiently, typically within 1–2 hours.

• Participate in flexible, sprint-based project cycles.

What We’re Looking For

You should have hands-on professional experience in environmental, sustainability, EHS, ESG, or environmental compliance work, combined with the ability to create and improve high-quality business presentations.

Strong candidates will bring:

• At least 3 years of experience in EHS, sustainability, ESG, environmental engineering, environmental compliance, or a related field.

• Advanced Microsoft PowerPoint skills.

• Experience developing executive-level, senior-stakeholder, or client-facing presentations.

• Strong understanding of data visualization and visual storytelling.

• Excellent content editing and written communication skills.

• Strong attention to detail and critical thinking.

• Ability to communicate complex environmental information clearly.

• Ability to explain and defend presentation and editorial decisions using evidence and sound reasoning.

• Comfort working independently in a remote environment.

This role goes beyond presentation design.

You’ll need to understand the environmental or sustainability context behind the material and determine how technical information should be communicated to an executive or professional audience.

When improving a slide, you should be able to explain how your changes strengthen clarity, data communication, storytelling, or decision-making. You should also recognize when an existing element is accurate and effective and should be preserved rather than changed unnecessarily.

What Success Looks Like

Successful presentations will be technically accurate, visually polished, easy to understand, and appropriate for senior professional audiences.

Each slide should communicate its main message clearly, present environmental or sustainability data effectively, preserve important regulatory and scientific context, and demonstrate deliberate reasoning behind both the changes made and the elements retained.

Compensation & Engagement

• Annual compensation equivalent: $288,000–$672,000, calculated at 40 hours per week across 48 workable weeks per year.

• Hourly rate: $150–$350/hour.
