About the Role

We are looking for experienced accounting and financial systems professionals to support a project focused on accounting operations, financial systems, and financial reporting.

You will use your professional expertise to evaluate AI-generated accounting work, identify errors, review financial information, and provide clear feedback that helps improve the quality and reliability of AI systems.

No prior AI experience is required. The focus is on your ability to apply sound accounting judgment, understand financial processes and systems, and clearly explain your reasoning.

What You'll Do

• Review AI-generated accounting outputs for accuracy, including accounting treatments, calculations, journal entries, and explanations.

• Analyze financial statements, reconciliations, and month-end close workpapers to identify errors or misstatements and determine appropriate treatments.

• Evaluate accounting workflows and system logic across platforms such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, Xero, and Microsoft Dynamics 365.

• Apply established evaluation guidelines consistently when reviewing, rating, or ranking outputs.

• Identify ambiguous or complex cases and document your reasoning clearly.

• Develop practical accounting scenarios and reference answers based on real-world financial processes.

• Provide clear, actionable feedback to support improvements to AI models and evaluation processes.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in financial accounting, corporate accounting, month-end close, audit, bookkeeping, financial reporting, management accounting, cost accounting, or FP&A involving substantial accounting responsibilities.

• Experience preparing or reviewing journal entries, reconciliations, financial statements, or close workpapers.

• Practical experience using financial systems or ERP platforms such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, Xero, Sage Intacct, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Workday, or comparable systems.

• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.

• Strong written and verbal English communication skills at B2 level or above.

• Ability to assess financial information carefully and communicate accounting decisions and corrections clearly.

• Reliable internet connection and availability to begin promptly.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with finance platforms such as BlackLine, Bill.com, Ramp, Brex, Stripe, Avalara, Anaplan, Tableau, or Power BI.

• Previous paid experience in AI training or human-data projects, including annotation, labeling, RLHF, AI response evaluation, model evaluation, or rubric-based grading.

• Previous verified participation in similar projects.

Compensation

The rate is $90–$170 per hour, equivalent to approximately $187,200–$353,600 per year based on 40 hours per week and 52 weeks per year.

Because this is a contract engagement, actual annual earnings will depend on hours worked, project availability, and applicable contract terms.
