Head of Engineering

Job Type: Full-Time

Compensation: $250K base + 1.5% equity

Role Overview

Seeking a Head of Engineering to lead and collaborate closely with product, pharmacy, and clinical teams. This role requires a highly creative technical leader with strong product instincts and deep familiarity with modern AI tools, workflows, and rapid prototyping.

• Onsite collaboration — Desire to work closely with the team onsite in San Francisco.

Key Responsibilities

• Patient experience — Build systems for peptide discovery, clinical intake, prescriptions, subscriptions, fulfillment, and ongoing care.

• Health data layer — Connect labs, medical history, prescriptions, symptoms, biometrics, wearables, and patient-reported outcomes.

• Recommendation systems — Develop peptide and protocol recommendations with clinical oversight and safety guardrails.

• Clinical tools — Create tools for chart review, patient communication, follow-ups, and protocol management.

• Pharmacy software — Manage sourcing, testing, transparency, inventory, fulfillment, and quality systems.

• Internal systems — Support both direct-to-consumer and B2B pharmacy/clinical platforms.

• Engineering culture — Establish team, architecture, and culture to scale quickly while maintaining patient trust.
