About the Role

We’re looking for experienced product and engineering professionals who can combine strong domain expertise with advanced PowerPoint and presentation skills.

You’ll review and reconstruct executive-level business presentations covering areas such as product roadmaps, engineering architecture, technical programs, and program updates. The work requires you to preserve technical accuracy and context while improving clarity, visual communication, and message hierarchy.

Your professional judgment is central to the role. You’ll need to determine which content and design choices should be improved, which should be preserved, and how to communicate those decisions clearly.

No previous AI experience is required.

What You’ll Do

• Analyze images of product and engineering business presentations.

• Reconstruct slides accurately in Microsoft PowerPoint.

• Preserve factual accuracy, technical definitions, assumptions, and important caveats.

• Improve slide clarity, structure, layout, and visual hierarchy.

• Strengthen charts, diagrams, and other technical or business data visualizations.

• Apply visual storytelling principles to make complex information easier to understand.

• Develop clear, evidence-supported slide titles and key messages.

• Edit and refine slide content while maintaining the original intent and context.

• Document the reasoning behind improvements made to each slide.

• Explain why certain changes were deliberately not made when existing choices are already effective.

• Provide feedback in clear, accessible language for audiences ranging from engineering leads to senior executives.

• Work in project-based sprints, with assignments typically requiring 1–2 hours to complete.

• Manage assignments within adaptable project timelines.

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of professional experience in product management, engineering leadership, technical program management, or a closely related field.

• Strong familiarity with product development and engineering environments.

• Experience creating executive-level PowerPoint presentations for senior stakeholders or clients.

• Advanced Microsoft PowerPoint skills.

• Strong capability in content editing, presentation design, and data visualization.

• Excellent visual storytelling and message hierarchy skills.

• Strong critical thinking and attention to detail.

• Ability to distinguish between changes that improve a presentation and changes that unnecessarily alter effective content.

• Excellent written communication skills.

• Ability to clearly explain title choices, visual selections, content changes, and presentation structure.

• Comfortable working independently in a remote, project-based environment.

Your Professional Judgment Matters

This role is not simply about reproducing slides.

You’ll need to understand the product or engineering context behind each presentation and determine how information should be structured for the intended audience.

You should be able to explain why a particular title, diagram, chart, layout, or content change improves communication—and recognize when an existing element is already accurate and effective enough to retain.

What Success Looks Like

Successful presentations will be technically accurate, visually polished, logically structured, and easy for both technical and executive audiences to understand.

The strongest work will preserve important product and engineering context while making the core message clearer, improving the use of visual evidence, and demonstrating sound reasoning behind every significant change.

Compensation & Engagement

• Annual compensation equivalent: $288,000–$672,000, calculated at 40 hours per week across 48 workable weeks per year.

• Hourly rate: $150–$350/hour.

• Contractor engagement.

• Fully remote.

• Experience with AI model training, evaluation, or rubric development is helpful but not required.
