About the Role

We’re looking for experienced securities and commodities professionals with hands-on expertise in trading, client advisory, market analysis, and compliance-driven workflows to contribute to a project focused on evaluating and improving AI systems.

You’ll create realistic evaluation tasks based on authentic financial-market scenarios, using market data, client documentation, spreadsheets, PDFs, and regulatory materials. Your work will test how effectively AI systems interpret financial information, apply market judgment, handle compliance considerations, and communicate decisions.

No prior AI experience is required. Your financial markets expertise, regulatory awareness, and ability to apply sound professional judgment are the core qualifications.

What You’ll Do

• Design realistic evaluation tasks covering securities and commodities trading, client advisory, and compliance-related decision-making.

• Create multi-step scenarios that reflect the complexity of real-world financial market operations.

• Source, compile, and curate relevant supporting materials, including market data, client documentation, spreadsheets, PDFs, technical materials, and regulatory references.

• Define appropriate market decisions or advisory actions based on the information provided.

• Account for applicable compliance requirements and regulatory considerations when developing solutions.

• Create detailed evaluation rubrics containing 35+ criteria to assess market judgment, compliance sensitivity, reasoning, and client communication.

• Ensure tasks reflect genuine day-to-day financial operations rather than simplified or purely theoretical scenarios.

• Review datasets and technical documentation to identify relevant information and constraints.

• Collaborate with technical teams to clarify task objectives and refine evaluation standards.

• Document task logic, expected decisions, and evaluation criteria clearly and precisely.

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional experience in a brokerage, bank, trading platform, or comparable financial markets environment.

• Significant experience working within compliance-driven financial workflows.

• Direct experience executing trades and/or providing client advisory services involving securities and commodities.

• Strong understanding of securities and commodities markets and associated operational processes.

• Ability to interpret market data, financial documentation, and regulatory materials.

• Strong awareness of compliance and regulatory considerations affecting trading and client interactions.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to produce clear, precise, and comprehensive technical documentation.

• Strong analytical judgment and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently on complex, structured deliverables.

Preferred Qualifications

• Active Series 7 and Series 63 licenses, or an international equivalent demonstrating relevant regulatory proficiency.

• Experience working with complex market datasets and financial documentation.

• Experience designing structured assessments, evaluation criteria, or grading rubrics.

• Experience developing realistic financial operations scenarios for training, assessment, or process improvement.

• Experience working with CSV files, spreadsheets, PDFs, and technical or regulatory documentation.

• Remote experience involving independent work and complex deliverables.

• Experience with AI evaluation, benchmarking, or AI training projects is helpful but not required.

Compensation & Engagement

• Hourly rate equivalent: $30–$80/hour.

• Minimum weekly submission requirements apply.
