Annual compensation equivalent is calculated at 40 hours per week across 48 workable weeks per year. It represents a full-time equivalent and is not a guaranteed salary. Actual compensation is output-based and depends on completed tasks.

About the Role

We are seeking experienced Senior Software Engineers to create realistic and challenging coding tasks used to train and evaluate AI systems.

You will design software engineering problems involving feature implementation, bug fixing, debugging, and performance optimization. You will also build deterministic verifiers that can reliably accept valid solutions while rejecting incorrect or incomplete implementations.

No prior AI experience is required. The focus is on your software engineering expertise, problem-solving ability, and judgment.

What You’ll Do

• Design realistic, challenging coding tasks for AI systems to solve.

• Create tasks involving feature implementation, bug fixing, debugging, and performance optimization.

• Develop deterministic verifiers that distinguish valid solutions from incorrect or incomplete ones.

• Work with backend technologies such as Java, Node.js, Go, Rust, TypeScript, Python, C++, or similar languages.

• Build and evaluate scalable services and APIs.

• Diagnose software defects and system bottlenecks.

• Apply automated testing to validate software behavior and task outcomes.

• Review code for correctness, maintainability, performance, and engineering quality.

• Refactor complex or legacy codebases where appropriate.

• Apply algorithms, data structures, and computer science fundamentals to practical engineering problems.

• Document technical reasoning and implementation decisions clearly.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong backend software engineering experience.

• Hands-on expertise with one or more of Java, Node.js, Go, Rust, TypeScript, Python, C++, or similar technologies.

• Track record of building scalable services and APIs.

• Strong debugging and troubleshooting capabilities.

• Experience with performance optimization and automated testing.

• Sound code review judgment.

• Experience implementing complex features in large-scale applications.

• Experience refactoring and improving existing codebases.

• Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, and foundational computer science.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and technical communication skills.

Cybersecurity Experience

Cybersecurity or SecOps experience is a strong advantage, particularly in areas such as:

• Secure software development

• Application security

• Penetration testing

• Vulnerability assessment

• OWASP

• CWE

• Security-focused code reviews

This experience is valuable for designing coding tasks that account for security vulnerabilities and secure engineering practices.

Assessment & Evaluation Process

The assessment process is designed to evaluate your independent technical reasoning and problem-solving ability.

Candidates are expected to complete the interview and assessment stages without outside assistance. The same principle applies during project work, where the quality of the contribution depends on your own technical judgment.

The process includes:

2. AI interview — approximately 30 minutes

3. Technical assessment, if applicable

4. Hiring manager review
