Job Overview

We are seeking Video Annotation Specialists to support an AI training project focused on video and audio analysis.

In this remote contractor role, you will review short video and audio clips, assess visual and auditory content, evaluate AI-generated descriptions, and provide structured feedback based on established guidelines.

Your work will contribute to the development and evaluation of next-generation AI systems by helping ensure that training and evaluation data is accurate, consistent, and high quality.

No prior experience in AI is required. Relevant experience in data annotation, content review, content moderation, quality assurance, or guideline-based evaluation is valuable. Strong attention to detail, English communication skills, and the ability to apply consistent judgment are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Review short video and audio clips, carefully assessing both visual and auditory elements.

• Perform detailed annotation and evaluation of video and audio content according to project-specific guidelines.

• Evaluate the accuracy of AI-generated descriptions and verify their alignment with the underlying content.

• Identify inaccuracies, inconsistencies, ambiguities, and other issues within reviewed content.

• Provide clear, concise, and actionable written feedback.

• Apply consistent and objective judgment when labeling and evaluating content.

• Follow established annotation guidelines, quality standards, and project protocols.

• Flag content that does not meet specified standards or requires further clarification.

• Escalate uncertain or complex cases to project leads when appropriate.

• Maintain a high level of annotation accuracy and consistency across assigned tasks.

• Collaborate with project coordinators to support annotation quality and data integrity.

• Contribute suggestions for improving annotation workflows and quality assurance processes.

• Maintain confidentiality when handling project and customer data.

• Work independently and reliably within a remote project environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in data annotation, data labeling, content moderation, content review, or quality assurance.

• Experience working with video or audio data is advantageous.

• Strong English communication skills, with the ability to provide detailed written and verbal feedback.

• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to identify subtle inaccuracies or inconsistencies.

• Strong analytical and objective judgment when applying predefined guidelines.

• Familiarity with generalist training, content review, or guideline-based evaluation is advantageous.

• Ability to perform repetitive review and annotation tasks while maintaining consistent quality.

• Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
