About the Role

We’re looking for experienced arts, media, publishing, entertainment, and design professionals with exceptional PowerPoint and presentation skills.

You’ll work with business-focused presentation materials covering areas such as editorial strategy, audience analysis, production planning, and creative reviews. Your role will be to reconstruct slides in Microsoft PowerPoint and elevate them through stronger visual communication, storytelling, information hierarchy, data visualization, and editorial clarity.

This is a strong fit for someone who can look at a presentation and understand not only how to make it look better, but why a particular layout, message, visual, or editorial choice works.

No previous AI experience is required.

What You’ll Do

• Reconstruct business-focused presentation slides in Microsoft PowerPoint from supplied reference images.

• Accurately reproduce the underlying content while creating a polished, professional presentation.

• Improve slide structure, visual hierarchy, readability, storytelling, and overall communication.

• Refine charts, tables, diagrams, and other data visualizations where appropriate.

• Edit and restructure content to make key messages clearer without changing the underlying meaning.

• Apply strong presentation design principles to layout, typography, spacing, alignment, and composition.

• Preserve important terminology, qualifications, caveats, and domain-specific information.

• Decide when an existing design or content element should remain unchanged and explain why.

• Provide a clear written rationale documenting the changes made to each slide.

• Defend design, editorial, and communication decisions using practical reasoning rather than personal preference alone.

• Complete assignments efficiently, typically within 1–2 hours per slide.

• Work across flexible, sprint-based project cycles as project needs change.

What We’re Looking For

You should have substantial practical experience creating or improving professional presentations and be comfortable working with complex business content.

Strong candidates will bring:

• At least 3 years of experience in media, publishing, entertainment, design, or a related field.

• Advanced Microsoft PowerPoint skills.

• Experience creating executive-level or client-facing presentations.

• Strong understanding of visual storytelling and message hierarchy.

• Experience working with sophisticated charts, diagrams, tables, or other data visualizations.

• Strong content editing and communication skills.

• Excellent attention to detail.

• The ability to make thoughtful design decisions while preserving factual accuracy.

• Strong written communication and the ability to clearly explain your decisions.

• Comfort working independently and delivering polished work within defined timeframes.

Your Design Judgment Matters

This role goes beyond making slides visually attractive.

You’ll be expected to recognize when a slide already contains an effective element and preserve it intentionally. When you make a change, you should be able to explain how that change improves clarity, communication, storytelling, or usability.

You should also be comfortable identifying weaknesses in hierarchy, layout, messaging, visual presentation, or data communication and determining the most appropriate way to address them.

Each reconstructed slide should communicate its intended message clearly, use visual elements deliberately, preserve important context, and demonstrate thoughtful reasoning behind both the changes made and the elements retained.

Compensation & Engagement

• Annual compensation equivalent: $288,000–$672,000, calculated at 40 hours per week across 48 workable weeks per year.

• Hourly rate: $150–$350/hour.

• Contractor engagement.
