About the Role

We’re looking for experienced legal, regulatory, public policy, compliance, and public-sector professionals who combine deep subject-matter expertise with strong PowerPoint and presentation skills.

You’ll work with executive-level materials covering areas such as legal analysis, regulatory compliance, policy options, governance, committee updates, and public consultation. Your role will be to reconstruct and improve presentation slides while preserving the accuracy, nuance, definitions, and context that matter in legal and policy communications.

This is an opportunity for a practitioner or consultant who understands that effective executive presentations require more than good design. You’ll need to understand the underlying legal or policy issue, identify what matters most, and communicate it clearly without compromising precision.

No previous AI experience is required.

What You’ll Do

• Reconstruct legal, regulatory, compliance, policy, and public-sector presentation slides in Microsoft PowerPoint.

• Accurately preserve the substance, definitions, qualifications, and caveats contained in the source material.

• Improve slide structure, visual hierarchy, readability, and executive-level communication.

• Strengthen charts, tables, diagrams, and other data visualizations where appropriate.

• Improve narrative flow and visual storytelling without changing the intended meaning.

• Edit and refine executive briefings, policy option analyses, committee updates, and public consultation materials.

• Assess whether titles and key messages accurately reflect the supporting evidence.

• Apply appropriate content hierarchy to ensure important legal and policy issues are immediately clear.

• Determine which exhibits, charts, tables, or supporting information best communicate the underlying issue.

• Document the changes made to each slide and explain the reasoning behind those decisions.

• Explain why certain original elements were intentionally retained rather than changed.

• Complete individual assignments efficiently, typically within 1–2 hours per slide.

• Participate in flexible, sprint-based project cycles.

What We’re Looking For

You should have substantial professional experience in a legal, regulatory, policy, compliance, governance, or public-sector environment, along with the ability to produce or improve sophisticated professional presentations.

Strong candidates will bring:

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in legal practice, regulatory affairs, public policy, compliance, governance, or the public sector.

• Experience dealing with substantive legal, regulatory, policy, or governance matters.

• Advanced Microsoft PowerPoint skills.

• Experience creating or improving executive-level or client-facing presentations.

• Strong understanding of presentation structure, visual storytelling, and data visualization.

• Exceptional attention to detail and critical thinking.

• Precise written communication skills.

• Ability to explain complex legal or policy issues clearly to senior decision-makers.

• Ability to justify content, structural, and presentation decisions using sound professional reasoning.

• Comfort working independently in a remote environment.

This role is not simply about making legal or policy slides look better.

You’ll need to understand the substance behind the material and determine how it should be structured for an executive or decision-making audience.

When making a change, you should be able to explain how it improves clarity, strengthens the argument, communicates evidence more effectively, or makes an important issue easier to understand. You should also recognize when an existing element is already accurate and effective and should be preserved.

What Success Looks Like

Successful presentations will be legally and factually accurate, visually polished, logically structured, and appropriate for senior decision-makers.

Each slide should communicate its key message clearly, distinguish evidence from interpretation where relevant, preserve important qualifications and caveats, and demonstrate deliberate reasoning behind both the changes made and the elements retained.

• Annual compensation equivalent: $288,000–$672,000, calculated at 40 hours per week across 48 workable weeks per year.

• Hourly rate: $150–$350/hour.
