Hourly Rate: $150–$350/hour
About the Role
We’re looking for experienced research and insights professionals with strong PowerPoint and presentation skills to review and reconstruct executive-level business presentations.
You’ll work with research-driven materials such as research readouts, survey results, segmentation analyses, competitive landscapes, and other insight-focused presentations. Your work will involve preserving research accuracy and context while improving clarity, visual communication, message hierarchy, and overall presentation quality.
Strong professional judgment is important. You’ll need to identify what should be improved, what should be preserved, and clearly explain the reasoning behind those decisions.
No previous AI experience is required.
What You’ll Do
Review images of research and insights presentations and reconstruct them in Microsoft PowerPoint.
Preserve factual accuracy, research methodology, definitions, assumptions, caveats, and context.
Improve slide structure, layout, visual hierarchy, and overall clarity.
Strengthen charts, tables, graphs, and other research-focused data visualizations.
Apply effective visual storytelling to communicate research findings clearly.
Develop evidence-supported titles and key messages.
Edit and refine content while maintaining the original research intent.
Evaluate whether exhibits effectively support the conclusions being presented.
Document the changes made to each slide and explain the reasoning behind those decisions.
Explain why specific elements were retained when existing choices are already effective.
Clearly communicate methodological, content, and design decisions in writing.
Work on task-based, sprint-driven assignments with flexible timing.
Complete individual slide engagements that typically require approximately 1–2 hours.
What We’re Looking For
3+ years of experience in market research, consumer insights, analytics, quantitative research, or a related field.
Strong understanding of research and insights methodologies and how findings are communicated to business audiences.
Proven experience creating or refining executive-level or client-facing PowerPoint presentations.
Advanced Microsoft PowerPoint skills.
Strong presentation design, slide reconstruction, and data visualization capabilities.
Excellent visual storytelling and message hierarchy skills.
Strong critical thinking and attention to detail.
Ability to assess whether research findings are accurately and appropriately represented.
Strong written communication skills.

Your Professional Judgment Matters
This role requires more than presentation design.
You’ll need to understand the research behind each slide and determine how findings, evidence, methodology, and conclusions should be communicated to an executive audience.
You should be able to explain why a particular title, chart, exhibit, layout, or content change improves the presentation while recognizing when an existing element is already accurate and effective and should be preserved.
What Success Looks Like
Successful presentations will be factually accurate, visually polished, logically structured, and easy for executive audiences to understand.
Research findings should remain faithful to the underlying evidence, while the presentation makes the key insights, comparisons, trends, and implications clearer through effective storytelling and visual communication.
